| Modern Construction System
Increasing costs of manufacturers, dealers in construction material as well as of assembly companies necessarily lead to demand for cheaper technologies and for lower assembly costs. This requirement is reflected in the contemporary efforts to produce as universal construction components as possible and to simplify and accelerate assembly operations without compromising the accuracy or quality of manufacturing. This trend calls for the ever growing use of construction boards and panels that save the costs of material and the time of assembly.
The ongoing growth of the prices of fuel and energy was another significant factor that changed the trends in the building industry substantially. Yet there exists an efficient solution to all of these inconvenient circumstances: the use of materials ensuring moderate energy requirements. Today, the builders do not evaluate construction works only from the standpoint of investment costs but also from the view of so-called future costs of operation; i.e. how much will it cost in a certain building.
Ekopanel - strawboard successfully meets both these requirements.
It is characterized mainly with the following properties:
- robust and firm construction tunnel facilitating the implementation of self-supporting partitions, loft conversions and external walls
- dry assembly, low labor intensiveness and fast bricklaying speed
- no special load-bearing structures or special machines are required; assembly work is done by means of standard joining material and tools
- surface finishes and assembly of equipment as the same as in brick buildings
- above-average thermal and acoustic insulation properties
- fire resistance
- attractive price

| Universal Applications
The ekopanel - strawboard is a compact product based on natural fibers and straw materials. The board is 1.2 m wide, 6 cm thick and 1.2 to 3.2 m long, depending on a builder’s or project requirements.
The ekopanel can be used to build partition walls or suspended ceilings; to jacket the wooden structures of prefabricated houses; or to serve not-so-traditionally as permanent formwork and mobile partition walls. Simply, they prove useful wherever possible.
The ekopanel finds applications in uncomplicated construction modifications, extensions and large-scale public or industrial construction projects.
The most frequent applications include:
- stable or mobile interior partition walls
- suspended ceilings and loft conversions
- external and internal jacketing of wooden skeletons for extensions or all-wood buildings
- building conversions on industrial premises (e.g. offices)

| Easy, Fast and Cheap Assembly
Work with the ekopanel resembles work with wood. The ekopanel can be easily shaped in size and worked by means of standard manual tools such as a circular saw, a compass saw, a drill or a groove milling machine.
The ekopanels are jointed by means of screws and universal ties. Therefore, it is not necessary to purchase various assembly components, structures or other accessories. The installation proper of a ekopanel of about 3 m2 takes minutes.
The acoustic and thermal insulation properties of the ekopanel also bring savings especially in view of required thermal resistance, acoustic attenuation and fire resistance. Many other materials require the implementation of additional measures, thus increasing overall investment costs.
